Pelynt NDP Summer Update 3/06/2025 The independent examination has concluded and we have a draft report. Some minor updates and amendments to wording have been recommended but nothing major. The plan is now being updated to suit and the examiner will then issue a completed report to us and Cornwall Council. The final stage is a referendum in Pelynt. This will be a simple process requiring a YES or NO from registered voters in our parish. Watch out for information through the post and on social media.

The final NDP will include policies on housing, character, community facilities, transport, employment, parking climate change and sustainability. Once made, these policies will be used to determine planning applications locally along with the Cornwall Local Plan. This link will take you to the policy detail. The final documents are in the process of being updated over the next few weeks.
